Let's Get Started Creating!
(Teachers) Create an account by filling in the required information or Signing up with Google.
Search through Public Quizizz, My Quizizz, Create, My Reports or My Memes.
Create a new Quizizz by clicking Create.
Add the Quiz Info; name, language and privacy.
Notice the New Import from File option.
Search for questions from other Quizizz or combine Quizizz using search.
Create and add questions. A live preview will appear on the right hand side as the question is being created.
Make sure to select the Correct answer!
Continue building your Quizizz by clicking New Question.
Duplicate or trash a question.
Don't worry about loosing your work! Quizizz saves automatically.
After building your Quizizz, click Finish.
The final step is to add the grade range, subject and tag. Click Finish and Create Quiz.
Let's Get Started Quizzing!
After creating your Quizizz, you can Play Live or as Homework.
As students join in, they will be assigned an avatar and their names will populate on the teacher's computer.
Click Start Game once everyone has joined.
As a game is ongoing, teachers will see an overview for each students' progress and total correct and total wrong.
When students join, they will be prompted to enter the 6-digit code, and them, their name. Students will be assigned an avatar.
After a 5 second countdown, the questions will begin to appear. Students will move through the questions at their own pace. (Questions may be timed, but students can move through them faster if they know the answer.)
Students will see a meme after each question as a brain break.
Once all students are completed, a scoreboard will appear.
When the quiz is finished, the teacher will see an overview of the quiz. Teachers can view and analyze reports in the Reports section.
Teachers can immediately review questions with students by clicking Review Questions.
View completed reports for completed quizzes.
Open reports for additional details for questions and players.
Homework
The teacher can set the Quizizz up as Homework instead of playing it live.
Set the Homework settings, including a due date and time.
Your assignment is live! Share instructions with students for accessing the quiz. Share on Google Classroom.
Student go to join.quizizz.com to join in the Homework. Students complete questions at their own pace.
Teachers can view the Reports live to monitor student progress.
